How we work
| Practice first AJŠ SR professional-development activities are built around experiential and non-formal learning rather than lecture-based training. Participants experience methods as learners, analyse why they work, adapt them to different target groups, test them with peers and receive feedback. Reflection is built into the learning process, and participants develop concrete ideas for applying new approaches in their own organisations. |

AJŠ SR has experience coordinating international partnerships, participant preparation, learning programmes, Youthpass, mentoring, reflection, evaluation, dissemination and transfer of results into local practice.
From mobility to everyday practice
| Practice firstLearning does not end when the mobility ends AJŠ SR connects international professional development with the regular work of its member organisations. Participants are encouraged to test new methods with their learners and youth groups, share approaches with colleagues, adapt materials to local needs and integrate successful practices into recurring programmes. Through seminars, workshops, peer exchange and the Learn & Lead approach, AJŠ SR supports the transfer of learning from individual participants to teams and organisations. |
Quality, inclusion & safeguarding
| Quality is designed into the process AJŠ SR and participating member organisations apply established safeguarding, risk-management, participant-support and organisational procedures. Individual needs are identified during preparation. Responsibilities are assigned for participant welfare, accessibility, first aid, emergency communication and incident response. Activities are adapted where necessary to ensure meaningful participation. AJŠ SR also applies structured quality assurance, participant feedback, reflection and evaluation to improve future activities. |
AJŠ SR network
| A network that connects professional development with practice AJŠ SR brings together language schools, educators, trainers and education managers across Slovakia. This network allows methods developed through European cooperation to be tested and transferred into regular programmes with children, teenagers and young adults. Approximately 50–70 educators, youth workers, young facilitators and programme staff contribute to AJŠ SR-supported youth activities during a typical year. |
